Blue Diamond Entertainment began in 1988 as Blue Diamond Disco, a one-person mobile disco operation born out of a genuine love for music and live performance. What started as weekend bookings at local venues, pubs, and private parties grew steadily through word of mouth, reputation, and a commitment to delivering something genuinely special at every event.
Through the early 1990s, the business evolved. The name changed to Blue Diamond Entertainment to reflect a broader ambition, not just a mobile disco, but a complete entertainment service capable of transforming any event into something memorable. The foundations were in place. The reputation was growing. The question was how to scale it properly.
A turning point arrived in 2015.
Paul connected with George, a local DJ who had already established a reputation for outstanding performances at some of Worcestershire's most prestigious venues. Both shared the same values, standards, and vision for what a professional wedding entertainment company should look like. The partnership was formed, and the business entered a new chapter.
Over the following years, Paul and George deliberately and carefully expanded the service offering, adding photo booth hire, flower wall hire, LED dance floors, special effects, and a growing roster of associate DJs and event operators. Every new service was added only when they were confident it met the same standard as everything that came before it. Nothing was added for the sake of it. Everything was added because it made evenings better.
Today, Blue Diamond Entertainment is Worcestershire's most complete wedding entertainment company. We have over 35 years of history, a team of experienced professionals, and preferred supplier status at over 20 top regional venues. Hundreds of couples have given us five-star reviews for making their evenings unforgettable.

Blue Diamond Disco is founded. Paul starts performing at local venues and private events across Worcestershire. Word spreads, and bookings increase.
The business becomes Blue Diamond Entertainment — a broader name for a broader ambition. The reputation for professional, personal service continues to grow across the region.
Over a decade of consistent performances at weddings, parties, and events in Worcestershire and the West Midlands. Relationships with venues deepen. The preferred supplier network begins to form.
Paul and George form the founding partnership. The business enters its most significant period of growth, with expanded coverage, an enhanced service offering, and a growing team of associate professionals.
Photo booth, flower wall, and LED dance floor hire are added to our service portfolio. The team expands. Venue partnerships multiply. Blue Diamond becomes the preferred entertainment supplier for many prestigious wedding venues.
Like all event businesses, Blue Diamond faced the challenges of the pandemic. The team used this time to invest in new equipment, refine packages, and prepare for weddings' return.
A record period of growth. More weddings, more venues, more services, and a new website designed to make the booking process as simple and transparent as possible. Blue Diamond Entertainment is now Worcestershire's most complete wedding entertainment company and continues to grow.
